Reimagining the Futures of Higher Education towards 2050

UNESCO 3rd World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022)
Barcelona, 18-20 May 2022
The 3rd World Higher Education Conference (WHEC2022) will respond to the challenges faced by humanity and the planet, with special attention to the global disruption created by the COVID-19 pandemic. On the theme ‘Reinventing Higher Education for a Sustainable Future‘, WHEC2022 will offer new knowledge, innovative ideas, foster creative alliances, and produce an enlarged and reinvigorated coalition of the global higher education community in favour of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and beyond. The report of UNESCO’s Global Independent Expert Group on the Universities and the 2030 Agenda: ‘Knowledge-driven actions: Transforming higher education for global sustainability‘, will be officially launched.
